Hip joint replacement and joint reconstruction after prosthesis failure. Developed in co-operation with Mecron & Co, Berlin, Germany, Duokopf (double head - bipolar prosthesis).
Tibia osteotomy by genu varus and femur intertrochanteric osteotomy in hip osteoarthritis in relatively young people.
Particularly interested in the difficult problem of re-operative corective bone surgery. Special interests in surgical treatment of bone tumours. Special expertise in the management of comminuted compaound fractures, pelvis and acetabulum fracture.
Co-operative management with Professor H Willenegger, President of AO International, as a lecturer and instructor of AO courses in America, Middle East and Far East.
